Multiple Intelligences

Intelligence is the way that we as humans demonstrate our intellectual ability.

Intelligence is the ability to solve problems, or to create products, that are valued within one or more cultural settings. This new outlook on intelligence differs greatly from the traditional view which usually recognizes only two intelligences in the classroom.

The theory of Multiple Intelligences suggests a major alteration in the way our schools are operated. This theory suggests that teachers be trained to present their lessons in a wide variety of ways using music, cooperative learning, art activities, role play, multimedia, field trips, inner reflection and much more.
